Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern all services provided by Siam Balance Float & Wellness and Siam Balance Thai Massage (collectively referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking an appointment, purchasing a service, or using our facilities, you agree to abide by these terms.

General Terms

• All purchases, including services, gift cards, and memberships, are final and non-refundable, unless stated otherwise in our refund policy.

• Clients must arrive on time for their appointments. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session.

• All clients are encouraged to arrive at least 5 minutes early to allow time for check-in.

• First-time spa clients must arrive 10-15 minutes early to complete a consent form and receive a brief orientation before their session.

• Memberships and services are non-transferable and must be used by the registered individual.

• Clients must comply with all facility rules and guidelines while using our services.

• We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who does not comply with our policies or behaves inappropriately toward staff.

• Clients must disclose any medical conditions, recent surgeries, or injuries before receiving services.

• Swimwear must be worn while using spa facilities.

• Underpants must be worn during all massage services. Disposable undergarments are available upon request.

• Prices and policies are subject to change without prior notice.

Booking Policy Appointments & Reservations

• Bookings can be made online, by phone, or in person.

• A deposit is required to secure all bookings, with a minimum of $30 per person.

• Clients who book online must provide credit card details to secure their appointment but will not be charged until they arrive.

• Payment is required before the session begins. Deposit & Payment

• Deposit Amounts (Per Person):

• 45 or 60-minute session: $30

• 90-minute session: $50

• 120-minute session: $100

• 2.5-hour session: $130

• 3-hour session: $150

• Gift cards may be used as a deposit (for redemption details, see our Gift Card Policy).Rescheduling & Cancellations

• Appointments can be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice to avoid fees.

• Cancellations made within 48 hours will result in the deposit being forfeited.

• No-shows and same-day cancellations will be charged 100% of the service fee. Late Arrivals

• Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session with no price adjustment.

• If a client is more than 15 minutes late, their appointment may be rescheduled or canceled, with the deposit forfeited.

Online & Group Booking Policy

Online Booking:

• Clients booking online must agree to our Terms & Conditions before confirming their appointment.

• A valid credit card is required to secure the booking but will not be charged in advance. Payment is due upon arrival.

• If a client cancels within 48 hours or does not show up, the credit card on file will be charged according to our cancellation policy.

• If the online system is updated to store credit card details, this will be included in the same policy.

Group & Package Bookings:

• Group bookings and special packages may require a higher deposit or different cancellation terms.

• The deposit amount and cancellation terms will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

• Clients will receive a separate confirmation via text or email outlining the specific terms for their booking.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise, but last-minute cancellations impact our ability to serve other clients.

• Appointments can be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice to avoid fees.

• Cancellations made within 48 hours will result in the deposit being forfeited.

• No-shows and same-day cancellations will be charged 100% of the service fee.

• Gift cards & packages are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

• Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.

• If a client violates our policies (e.g., inappropriate behaviour, refusing to wear underpants during a massage), no refund will be issued.

• Retail product refunds: Unused, unopened products may be exchanged or refunded within 14 days of purchase with a valid receipt.

• Food and beverage items, including Honey Ginger Tea, are non-refundable for health and safety reasons.

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Customer information collected during bookings or purchases, including personal details and payment information, is used solely for order fulfilment, customer service, and internal analytics.

• We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

• All transactions are securely processed, and your data is stored in compliance with applicable privacy laws.

• If you have concerns about your information, please contact us directly.

Massage, Spa & Wellness Policy

• Clients using Infrared Sauna, Cold Plunge, Float Therapy, Steam & Spa Bath, or LED Light Therapy must sign a consent form before their session.

• By booking and receiving a massage at Siam Balance Float & Wellness or Siam Balance Thai Massage, clients voluntarily assume all risks associated with massage therapy and release the businesses from any liability related to pre-existing or undisclosed conditions.

• Clients must disclose any medical conditions, recent surgeries, injuries, or pregnancy before their session.

• Massage therapy does not replace medical treatment, and our therapists do not diagnose illnesses, prescribe medications, or manipulate the spine.

• Massage therapy may provide benefits such as relief of muscular tension, relaxation, stress reduction, and general well-being, but results are not guaranteed.

• Clients acknowledge the potential side effects of massage therapy, which may include:

• Superficial bruising, Short-term muscle soreness, Increased awareness of areas of pain, Light-headedness, Exacerbation of undiscovered injuries

• Clients agree to inform their therapist immediately if they experience discomfort during the session.

• Underpants must be worn during all massage services. Disposable undergarments are available if needed.

• We reserve the right to refuse service or adjust treatment based on a client’s health condition.

• Siam Balance Float & Wellness and Siam Balance Thai Massage is not liable for any pre-existing conditions or undisclosed medical conditions that may be affected by massage therapy.

• By checking in for their appointment, clients confirm they have read and agreed to our Terms & Conditions.

• Siam Balance Float & Wellness and Siam Balance Thai Massage are not liable for any pre-existing conditions or undisclosed medical conditions that may be affected by massage therapy.

Additional Information

• Payment Surcharge: A 1% surcharge applies to all card payments made in-store.

• Online Payment Surcharge: A 2% surcharge applies to online payments, including:

• Purchasing gift cards online

• Membership payments

• Charging a credit card upon client request (e.g., if a husband books for his wife and requests the payment to be processed online).

• Online transactions incur a higher surcharge due to increased processing and platform fees.

• No Surcharge for Online Booking: Clients booking online will not be charged at the time of booking. Payment will be made in-store upon arrival unless an online charge is requested.

• Respectful behaviour is required at all times. Any client displaying inappropriate behaviour or refusing to follow our hygiene and dress code policies may be denied service without a refund.

Siam Balance Float and Wellness & Siam Balance Thai Massage Gift Card Policy

This policy applies to all gift cards issued by Siam Balance Float & Wellness and Siam Balance Thai Massage.

By purchasing or using a gift card, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

General Terms

• All gift cards and packages are non-refundable, cannot be exchanged for cash or credit, and will not be replaced if lost or stolen.

Redemption

• How to Redeem: To use your gift card, please call us at 0416 269 565 or 0438 782 985 to schedule your session. Kindly send us a photo of the gift card when booking.

• Gift cards can be redeemed for services, memberships, and products at Siam Balance Float & Wellness and Siam Balance Thai Massage.

• We have a limited number of gift vouchers available for redemption each day, so we recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time.

Non-Refundable & No Cash Value

• Once purchased, gift cards are non-refundable. • Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or used to purchase other gift cards.

Lost or Stolen Cards

• Treat your gift card like cash—it will not be replaced if lost or stolen. • We recommend taking a photo of your gift card and keeping proof of purchase. However, even with proof, lost or stolen gift cards cannot be reissued.

Expiration Policy

5.1 Standard Gift Cards (Regular Purchases)

• By Australian Consumer Law, all standard gift cards purchased at full price expire after 3 years from the date of purchase.

• Example: A $100 gift card purchased on 15/02/2025 will expire on 15/02/2028.

• If the price of a service increases after purchase, the gift card retains its original purchase value, meaning the recipient may need to pay the difference.

Example Scenario: A client purchases a 60-minute Remedial Massage gift card for $114 on 15/02/2025, which expires on 15/02/2028.

If the price of a 60-minute Remedial Massage increases to $119 before the client redeems their session, the gift card will still hold a credit value of $114, and the client will need to pay the additional $5 at the time of booking.

5.2 Special Offer Gift Cards

• Special offer gift cards are valid for a promotional period of 3, 6, or 12 months, depending on the promotion at the time of purchase.

• After Expiry – Additional Grace Period: If a special offer gift card is partially used and expires, the remaining balance can still be used for an additional 3 months. After this period, any unused balance will be forfeited.

How the Balance Works:

• The remaining balance is calculated based on the discounted rate at the time of purchase.

• Example: If a client purchases 4 sauna sessions for $240 (at $60 per session instead of the regular $69 per session) and only redeems 3 sessions before expiry, the remaining $60 balance can still be used within the 3-month grace period at the same $60 per session rate.

Example Expiry Scenarios:

• A 12-month gift card purchased on 17/02/2025 expires on 17/02/2026. Any remaining balance can be used until 17/05/2026.

• A 6-month gift card purchased on 17/02/2025 expires on 17/08/2025. Any remaining balance can be used until 17/11/2025.

• A 3-month gift card purchased on 17/02/2025 expires on 17/05/2025. Any remaining balance can be used until 17/08/2025. Important Notes:

• Standard gift cards expire in 3 years by law, while special offer gift cards have shorter expiry dates.

• The special offer pricing expires once the gift card expires, but any remaining balance can still be used for another 3 months.

• This additional extension is a goodwill gesture to give clients extra time to use their balance. • The remaining balance can only be used for the same service originally purchased.

Example of balance use:

If a client purchased 4 sauna sessions for $240 at $60 per session (instead of the regular $69 per session), any remaining balance after expiry will still be valued at $60 per session rather than reverting to the standard price of $69.

• Extensions beyond the additional 3-month period will not be granted. By purchasing or using a gift card, you agree to these terms.

Changes to the Policy

• We reserve the right to modify or update this policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.

Legally Binding Waver Information 

In consideration of my use of the services and facilities at Siam Balance Float & Wellness and Siam Balance Thai Massage, I hereby agree as follows:

Acknowledgment of Risks 

I understand and accept the risks associated with participating in services including, but not limited to, Massages, Facials, Cupping, Float Therapy, Infrared Sauna, Cold Plunge, LED Light Therapy, Steam Room, and Spa Bath.

These risks may include but are not limited to:

• Heat exposure from the Infrared Sauna and Steam Room.

• Cold exposure from the Cold Plunge.

• Potential allergic reactions to massage oils, skincare products, or other materials used in treatments.

• Accidental slips, falls, or other physical injuries while using the facilities.

Medical Disclaimer and Participant Responsibility

I certify that I am in good health and do not have any medical conditions that would prevent me from safely using the services at Siam Balance Float & Wellness and Siam Balance Thai Massage.

I acknowledge that certain medical conditions require prior approval from a physician, including but not limited to:

• Cardiovascular conditions (hypertension/hypotension, heart disease, etc.).

• Pregnancy or breastfeeding (sauna and cold plunge are not permitted for pregnant women).

• Neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis or Diabetes with Neuropathy.

• Pacemakers or other implanted medical devices (for infrared sauna use).

• Bleeding disorders or recent surgeries. 

I understand that Siam Balance Float & Wellness and Siam Balance Thai Massage do not provide medical advice and that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician before participating in any treatments if I have concerns about my health. 

Age Restrictions

• All participants must be at least 16 years old to use the facilities without parental supervision.

• Minors (under 18) require parental consent to use specific treatments.

Hygiene and Facility Etiquette

To ensure a safe and clean environment for all guests, I agree to:

• Maintain proper personal hygiene before using the facilities.

• Wear appropriate clean clothing and use provided towels where required.

• Shower before entering the float tank, spa bath, steam room, sauna, or cold plunge, and wear swimwear while using spa facilities.

• Refrain from using the facilities if experiencing contagious illnesses, open wounds, or skin infections. Massage Etiquette and Policies

• You are required to wear underpants during your massage session. If you refuses to wear underpants, the session will be canceled, and no refund will be issued. If needed, underpants will be provided.

• Any inappropriate behaviour, including requests for sexual services or rude conduct towards our massage therapists, will result in immediate termination of the session with no refund.

• You understand that massage therapy may include side effects such as muscle soreness, mild bruising, increased awareness of pain, and light- headedness. 

If you feel uncomfortable or if the pressure is too much, you must inform the massage therapist immediately. 

Additionally, if you have had surgery, an injury, a broken bone, a hip replacement, or a dislocation, or if there are specific areas you wish to avoid or require special care, you must inform the massage therapist before the session begins.

Alcohol and Substance Policy

• I understand that the use of alcohol or drugs before treatments is strictly prohibited.

• Guests who appear intoxicated will not be permitted to use the facilities and will forfeit any scheduled appointment without a refund.

Liability Waiver and Release I assume all responsibility for any personal injuries (including death), property loss, or damage that may occur as a result of my use of the facilities.

With full knowledge of the consequences, I voluntarily and expressly waive my right to sue Siam Balance Float & Wellness and Siam Balance Thai Massage, its owners, employees, agents, contractors, affiliates, successors, and assigns for any injuries, damages, or claims arising from my participation.

I understand that this waiver, release, and indemnification will remain in effect beyond the duration of my participation in services at Siam Balance Float & Wellness and Siam Balance Thai Massage. 

By signing, I confirm that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to this waiver and the policies set forth by Siam Balance Float & Wellness and Siam Balance Thai Massage.
